Xeptagon launches in Cyberport targeting Climate Finance Technology Services
Xeptagon is excited to announce the launch of business operations in Hong Kong. In addition, Xeptagon is opening an office at the Cyberport in Hong Kong which will host our full-time employees based in Hong Kong. Xeptagon is also honored to receive a prestigious grant from Cyberport enabling us to further expand our business operations in Hong Kong. The grant programme is awarded to promising and innovative startups that have a proven high growth potential.
Xeptagon’s new home, Cyberport is the premier business park in Hong Kong housing many global tech startups with some having multi-billion-dollar valuations. Several unicorn startups such as Animoca Brands operate from Cyberport. Due to our innovations and proven track record, Xeptagon was presented with a grant with many other perks to further expand our business operations in Hong Kong.

Xeptagon’s new venture in Cyberport will primarily focus on the Climate Finance and Energy Optimization domain. We are planning to operate our own climate market in Hong Kong, and we will offer a group of advanced climate finance products to improve the liquidity of climate markets. With Xeptagon already established itself as a globally leading technology solution provider in the climate finance domain, we are confident our products will provide a breakthrough solution to many issues in the existing climate finance systems.
Currently, we are contracted by global inter-governmental organizations to develop software that is directly linked to climate finance such as carbon registries and MRV (Measurement, Reporting and Verification) systems. We were also contracted to deploy these systems in Namibia. Further, we are in a partnership with a South Korean entity to develop a carbon exchange. This entity is a venture seed funded by the investment arm of SK Securities. In addition, Xeptagon is also working with several large business organizations such as international telcos, energy companies, trading companies and banks to develop climate finance software systems.
Xeptagon has had strong roots in Hong Kong since its inception. We have provided technology solutions to the globally reputed Hong Kong University (HKU) as well as several startups operating in Hong Kong. Xeptagon also actively participated in Hong Kong Fintech Week and the Asian Finance Forum, which are premier fintech events in Asia. We are working hard, and we are confident of making this venture a success!
