Xeptagon Selected for the 2025 Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific

Xeptagon has been selected to join the 2025 Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific (FILAP), one of the world's most recognised accelerators for financial technology innovators. The programme, supported by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), connects high-potential fintech companies with leading banks, investors, and mentors to accelerate their growth and market adoption.

This year’s cohort was officially launched at the HKMA headquarters, where executives from major financial institutions joined Accenture’s leadership team to introduce the twelve selected companies. Xeptagon was recognised for its work in climate finance, carbon market infrastructure, and sustainability technology, key areas driving the digital transition in global finance.

Mentored by HSBC

Xeptagon is being mentored by HSBC, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations, under the programme's sustainability and climate technology focus.

Through this mentorship, Xeptagon will collaborate with HSBC's Global team on Carbon Removal Technologies and Climate Transition and other senior teams to explore how its carbon market and CBAM platforms can support climate-aligned investments, carbon credit management, and ESG data integrity within financial institutions.

This collaboration provides a pathway to strengthen institutional partnerships and expand the reach of Xeptagon's regulatory-aligned technology in international markets.

Driving Climate and FinTech Collaboration

Participation in the FinTech Innovation Lab reinforces Xeptagon's growing role in Hong Kong's Green FinTech ecosystem. The company recently completed three Green FinTech Proofs of Concept under the FSTB-Cyberport programme, was a finalist in the HKMA Green FinTech Competition, and is featured on the Hong Kong Green FinTech Map.

Xeptagon's integrated platform ecosystem supports governments and enterprises in managing carbon credits, MRV automation, supply-chain transparency, and ESG analytics. Through FILAP, Xeptagon aims to work closely with global banks and investors to develop scalable solutions that connect sustainability data, tokenised carbon assets, and capital markets, accelerating the transition to low-carbon finance.
